Default Intimate John Mayall

I have tickets to see John Mayall and the new band in Freiburg Germany next week, he is playing a pretty cozy venue called the Jazzhous which i think only holds a few hundred people. I looked at his dates in the Uk and its obviuosly much larger venues like the NIA and Rock City. I love it when you get to see a great artist in a small intimate venue, but i wonder how this is percieved by the artist...great as its an intimate gig...or not so good as the revinue wont be that high. What do you think?

I'm sure at his age Mayall will still be just as pleased at people still wanting to see him. Take some pics for us fella!

He's had some great guitar players in his band thru the years.
Should be a great show.
I've seen him twice, both times with Coco Montoya on guitar.
