Who loves Michael Buble?

I do.. with some of his songs.. but not all =)

pheurton 01-19-2008 09:37 AM

My father does, he also likes the eagles.

under 01-19-2008 07:35 PM

i've heard some of Michael Buble, not a huge fan though.

infusician 01-28-2008 12:55 PM

Yeah, not big on Michael Buble. I love James Blunt, though!

Shannon 01-30-2008 12:03 AM

Michael Buble owns, James Blunt just like, loops himself or something.
Not gonna argue over it though.

I like almost all songs by Buble.

Inuzuka Skysword 02-25-2008 02:05 PM

I hate Michael Buble.

jamerson macmanus 03-07-2008 02:55 AM

not me.

jamjam 03-14-2008 02:25 AM

Did anyone see him on the australian comedy series "Kath & Kim"? Really funny. I was so glad to see it because it made me realise he has a sense of humour.

This statement seems wrong in so many ways.

NoseClams 03-15-2008 05:54 PM

yeah i am a fan of bubble. i am a huge fan of dean martin and frank sinatra, so he fits right in there.

monellia 03-16-2008 08:08 AM

I find his music boring and his lyrics unispired. just not my sort of thing

teh seamonster 07-25-2008 09:25 AM

Buble sounds just like sinatra. I do like his music every once in a while, so sadly, i wouldn't be in the "love" category.

Wifey Boozer 08-13-2008 05:47 PM

Not getting the whole Buble/Sinatra thing (love old blue eyes)... but there is one song I love by the guy. And that's Home. See... has personal meaning to me. That song was on the radio all the time when my uncle was behind the wall and everytime we'd hear it we'd start crying. We can't listen to it now and it didn't really help us out any, but for some reason we all appreciate it deeply.

simplephysics 08-16-2008 05:55 PM

I wish I could making a decent living using other people's work with no real effort on my part, too.

whiplash 08-16-2008 06:06 PM

can't say that I like him, but my friend got dragged to a concert by his girlfriend and he said that he was funny as hell when he talked

kyleargyle 09-05-2008 08:29 AM

Not really a big fan, and these Sinatra comparisons seem almost blasphemous to me.

rjay21 09-11-2008 10:35 PM

yeah, im a fan of Buble... :)

Ludicati 09-24-2008 05:38 PM

He's good in his style, but that kind of music is not my cup of Gresterbutch

Michael Buble

Millions of people watched the performance of Michael Buble last weekend showed by ITV1. He shared the stage with George Michael, Robbie Williams and the finalists of this year’s X Factor. He performed a duet with Stacey Solomon, the only female singer that reached this far in the competition. The show has been seen by more than 12 million viewers.
Just a few days before the X Factor competition, the Canadian singer was seen strolling down Grafton Street, the shopping center of Dublin. His peaceful shopping trail was interrupted when a bunch of schoolgirls recognized him and crowded him pleading for autographs and photos. He was in the city preparing for an appearance on RTE's Late Show before his appearance on the stage with Robbie Williams and George Michael.
Michael Buble Crazy Love tour dates have been announced to promote his latest album, Crazy Love. It is on top of album charts all over the world. Only Susan Boyle’s ’I Dreamed A Dream’, Westlife’s 'Where We Are,' and the albums of Lady GaGa and Black Eyed Peas are ahead of Michael’s ‘Crazy Love’.
The album of the Grammy-winning singer is a diverse mixture of jazz and pop standards and original songs. Buble has interpreted Van Morrison’s “Crazy Love” and The Eagle’s “Heartache Tonight” proving again he can play jazzy everything ever written.
Among the tracks of the album you can enjoy “You’re Nobody Till Somebody Loves You,” the classical “Stardust,” “Baby (You’ve Got What It Takes),” “Whatever It Takes,” “Cry Me A River,” “All Of Me,” ”Georgia On My Mind,” and “Haven’t Met You Yet,” the latter co-written by Buble. Fellow artists featuring in Crazy Love include Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, and another Canadian singer, Ron Sexsmith.
Meanwhile, Michael defended UK actor Hugh Grant after a bad comment a UK tabloid made about his appearance on German TV show. Buble was a guest on British TV show Loose Women when the matter was brought up. The singer confirmed that he has been a guest alongside the Hollywood star on the same quiz show Wetten, das…? and assured the viewers that the so called “incident” was all set up by German actors, hired especially for the show.
Being famous is not an easy job but when you do something you are good at and that people love, it’s worth the price. So, Michael, keep up the good work!

In the future, if you're gonna copy & paste something from a website onto the boards, let people know that's what you're doing. In this case, it's easy to see it's not your own writing, but when you don't say where it's from, it looks like you're plagiarizing. And we don't like that.

I'm not sure this belongs in the jazz forum. Haven't really listened to enough to make an informed decision...

Strings 04-22-2010 12:07 PM

My grandpa likes Buble :-)

Danny88 11-13-2011 12:21 PM

I do, but I like Chet Baker better.

tbug2007 11-28-2011 06:26 PM

I've listened to Feeling Good. Awesome.

Only one I've heard.

This is total win.

He's okay. As someone said above, his lyrics do seem pretty uninspired and he just seems to use other peoples work to propel himself forward in his career.

landed87 12-21-2011 05:41 AM

love his voice and songs...but in terms of a 'musician' not much can be learned from him IMO. his arrangers are amazing though...

From what I have heard he sounds a bit like a Sinatra clone. But that isn't really a bad thing is it?

Ben Butler 01-02-2012 06:36 PM

Michael Buble is an amazing singer and nice guy.

Howard the Duck 01-03-2012 06:32 AM

normally not my type of music but i did enjoy his recent Christmas special a lot

mainly cos he's trying other genres of music, and not the usual Sinatra/Bennett schtick
