Slow vocal jazz suggestions?

The sound I'm really looking for is a slow tempo, saxphone backed, vocal jazz piece, an example would be if anyone has heard the Singing Sea by the Seatbelts. I've looked at some of the famous artists but am having trouble finding exactly what I'm looking for. Anyone have any suggestions?

I only have the superlative Ma Fleur album but I would say that is almost TOO mellow for certain people.

yeah you have to be in the right mood for the cinematic orchestra. i didn't really like 'ma fleur' though. the first album 'motion' is really good. 'everyday' is pretty decent too.

Motion and Everyday are excellent records, although I just can't remember if there's any vocal on Motion.

The obvious choice would be Billie Holliday, try out Lady in Satin.

I absolutely adore Ma Fleur. I have'nt heard any of their other albums. I may have a little dig around.

the vocals on motion are very sparse and only in two tracks 'and relax!' and 'diabolus'.
