Robert Johnson is a essential part of any Blues collection, He only recorded 29 songs between `36 and ‘37 for the American Record Corporation in his brief career, so pick yourself out one and enjoy!

I love how you take your time to do all these postings :D

I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but the Black Keys have an EP of covered blues songs from Junior Kimbrough.

In my opinion it's the best thing they ever did, even though I love their own music.
Really worth while if you're into blues :).

Enjoy :)

Thanks Garrett, I never appreciated Eric Clapton as one of the great blues artist until I heard him cover Robert Johnson. I personally find the whole Robert Johnson story intriguing to say the least. Not even holding into account the effect his music has had on the rock genre itself.

You are very welcome! Yeah, it all kinda starts with Mr. Johnson, if ya look at his songs you can see that everybody who has bent a string has covered one song or another. I really appreciate the effort Eric Clapton went into to show some love for a Blues Legend!

I'm not much for piano duels in general, much less in the genre of jazz, but this is simply amazing:
