Congratulations on rubbing shoulders with someone who is part of the extended, international Canterbury sound! Sorry, but I don`t recognise the name, Richard Sinclair. Who he ?

The Sheshet clip was interesting, though I`m not sure how much they sound like a Canterbury band - a "sound" which is hard enough to pin down anyway.

Richard Sinclair sang and played bass in a lot of bands, like Caravan, Camel, Hatfield and the North or his own very Canterburyish solo career. To me, his voice immediately conjures up Canterbury associations.

Here's one of his solo songs from the 90s, a song about Canterbury!

I thought it was quite good to get off of work and listen to as I relaxed. I agree about Esnuria being especially good. I love listening to the percussion while the guitar and bass try to steal my attention.

I love the strong start with Expresso but I must echo the sentiment about the ending being too much of a cliffhanger. Very solid work between the musicians here. I didn't take much away from the second track, Night Illusions. I'm going to continue replaying the album, but I feel like I'm going to be revisiting Expresso, Percolations and Esnuria more often than the rest.

This is just the perfect Canterbury song! As you say, he has the voice of Canterbury, the slightly humourous lyrics, and I love the way he starts singing about all those bands from 4:35 onwards. Have you caught all the names he mentions?

Thanks also for reminding me of Hatfield and the North, who I haven`t heard for years.

Giving it a go now, I can pick up most of them easy enough (Caravan, Tangerine Dream, Soft Machine, Henry Cow, Hatfield (and the north), Mike Ratledge, Kevin Ayers, Robert Wyatt), but there are some names in there which I don't recognize!

On topic, I also generally agree with those three being strong tracks from Gazeuse.
