  1. slow-moving harmonic rhythm, where single chords may last four to sixteen or more measures
  2. pedal points and[3] drones
  3. absent or suppressed standard functional chord progressions
  4. quartal harmonies or melodies

also:-

"slow-moving harmonic rhythm, where single chords may last four to sixteen or more measures"

vamps are commonplace in other jazz

"pedal points and drones"

pedal points are found more in soul jazz

"absent or suppressed standard functional chord progressions"

standard functional chord progressions are often only found in reinvention of "standards", most other jazz uses the above description

"quartal harmonies or melodies"

this is just a "grouping" in some sections - not all modal jazz are "quartal"

At least we can start out with some modal classics ;)

Gorgeous!
