Intense like a good Coltrane wail but obviously not as intricate as the God would display. Criss was a cool cat and this track swings hard man dingo.

I just placed a bid on an original stereo copy of this on eBay. Hard to find. Wish me luck. Pete La Roca is a f*cking BOSS. I have an original Turkish Women and the Bath which is one of my favorite records in my collection. Need this now.

Illuminations by Steven Kirby

2016 guitar based new agey smooth jazz with surprisingly good chops.

Zigzagger by Takuya Kuroda

https://www.google.com/amp/s/jazztim...zigzagger/amp/

Quote:
The Japanese trumpeter’s multiethnic, genre-crossing music knows no bounds, bringing together elements of fusion, funk, acid jazz, electronica, neo-soul, hip-hop, Afrobeat and anything else he can think of. Zigzagger is the follow-up to his 2014 breakout on Blue Note, Rising Son, and it continues in much the same vein.
