i would...i saw this documentary about him and a couple other artists he started out working for, Ruth Brown, and i found it really interesting. i really like documentaries on music...and other stuff

My favorite ray charles moment was in The Blues Brothers movie where they sing shake your tailfeather. What an incredible talent that man had. We were all so very lucky to have experienced him in our lives. RIP.

I'd say the king of jazz should be someone like Armstrong, Coltrane, or Davis. Or all three of them.
