Smile What is the main instrument used in this song?

I myself cannot identify the instrument playing the "wahs" in this video (google "PBS Prohibition Satans Seat" not allowed to post links yet), could someone else help me out! Thanks

More specifically? I was thinking a trumpet with a mute and stem.
