it came to croatia.....it's only a matter of time before it spreads throughout the planet......luckily it's not dangerous to humans yet....

Well, yeah it is. One guy died from eating a stolen chicken.

Err... People have been affected by it. Its killed 60 already, I think. But then that has been since a couple years ago... It just hasnt mutated into a person to person thing yet.

If it does, we're pretty much screwed. Mostly only independant organisations are doing anything to protect people from it, everyone else is busy studying it, it looks like. Meh.

Yeah, when they've finished their research we'll all be retarded with wings.

So far, yes. But apparently its somethin that's going to mutate quickly and could potentially become airborne. If that happens, the likelyhood is that there'll be a lot of people who wont be able to afford to get their jabs done privately, and that means lotsa very sick people.

Er, no. Meaning that I doubt most governments will be providing protection from the flu on the health services. And meaning that people who would rather believe that "oh, it'll never happen to us" will also get sick.

I thought the governments supplied the tamiflu vaccine free of charge. They will over here anyway.

they'll do it everywhere if it becomes a pandemic....

And Im sure they'll supply it all eventually, just not in time, let alone in advance.

Sorry but 60 deaths in developing countries isn`t going to scare me.

1500 people were found to have the Ebola virus last year , the death rate for that is 80% , see a media outcry over that?

i think the difference is that the bird flew has a much bigger chance of spreading throughout the world, the ebola virus is more containable...

Maybe , but i`m more afraid of a virus thats eat my entire body than catching a bout of the sniffles from a chicken

i'm not affraid of a virus that is contained to africa, i am a bit more worried about a virus that spreads in the speed of light and has the possibility to mutate and become airbourne....

It's bird flu isn't it.
