i think a player of carter's calibre deserves to be in a team that actually has a chance to win the championship, he's been stuck in that dead end club for far too many years....

That was dumb..look at what shaq is averaging......Kobe isnt the best player anymore..(if he ever was)...Right now id say that T-Mac is the best player in the NBA.....and im not sure Phil Jackson can really change anything with LA.....They no longer i dont think are in the running for A championship

are you serious, t-mac better kobe? don't get me wrong t-mac is probably the second best player in the nba, but look at kobe and t-mac stats and awards, and you will see kobe is far more better than t-mac. as for the lakers, just watch this season and you will see them go all the way.

Kobe used to always be a better player...Not anymore though....especially now with the contribution to houston (Stromile swift)...Houston will be unstopable

Yeah, but the way I see it, they never bothered to surround him with complementary players. And, even if they were going to make a trade, they got basically nothing in return.

Kobe can't play team ball. End of story.

Houston looks good this year. But, I don't think anyone should be thinking championship this year unless you wear a Heat or Spurs jersey.

i see where you're coming from about surrounding him with better players.......but on the other hand they have soo much talent...jalen rose has always owned.chris bosh is money....moe pete....They have lots of potential but they need one guy to lead the team and right now its Chris Bosh doing it and hes just to young and un-experienced.......hes amazing but not right for the team leader role
