^it says exactly who the contest is open to. If you're referring to flaming in general, don't try to make it sound as if that doesn't exist already. we're just turning it into an incentive to have fun with idiots and a**holes who contribute nothing but negativity to the forums.

It doesn`t explain why it`s ok for some & not others.

i don't think its fair that people that have been members on here for while get away with murder. its like i was on here for all of 2 hours and i was being bashed.. by two people more so then anyone else. and i've been poked at.. called everything under the sun and nothing was done about it. when someone is new to a place like this people should be welcomed to it.. and if there doing something wrong have someone in a nice way pm them about it.. don't go bashing them in the threads.. its unfair... i disagree with how some of the mods handle things around here..

also as one final note.. Big3 where ever you are.. and i'm sure you'll be on later.. you going to be a wonderful mod

We had this going for a long time before you found it, and not one person protested against it.

I`ve seen people I like banned for much less.

I wonder why every single forum I've ever been on has a "how come X and Y, not the Coldplay album, gets away with this and that, but A and B, not the Futureheads song, get banned for coughing without putting their hand over their mouth" thread?

Grow up, this wasn't mod sponsered flaming at all. When I made this back in November, I wasn't a moderator. And even then, we only poked fun at the negative contributors. If you'd bothered to read the past few pages you'd have noticed that I decided not to play anymore because of my current position, but this thread was in good fun and started off as an inside joke between jibber and myself. I won't reopen it, but it's a shame to see good fun go to waste because some people didn't understand the intent of the thread.

and to explosions, if you have a problem with my moderating style, don't drop "subtle" hints in a thread, PM me if you have a problem.
