Happy New Years Eve, and New Years everone. Have a good one. We're having relatives over on New Years day (mainly for my Brothers birthday...which is today, but we're celebrating tommorrow...otherwise no one would be over because we are very anti social in my family...well actually just me and my dad are...but...whatever I'm rambling and you don't care. lol.)...should be nice.

Happy New Years!

Although I nearly ****ed up my whole night/morning: at the bus stop to take my friends and I to town, these guys were smoking a joint and I asked for a toke as I was already drunk (and ****ing stupid). I can't believe how sick I was, it was the worst trip I've ever had! I was paranoid and just about cried. I was scared I was going to get even worse and go unconcious, and yes, I remember worrying about the ambulance officers cutting off my brand new top and accessories! My best friend stuck by me though, got me some food and water. I was pretty crap at the countdown but managed to enjoy it. We went around the pubs and eventually the weed wore off, and by 4am I was sober.

I've never reacted badly to weed before, but this stuff was chronic and I got sick because of mixing it with alcohol. And who knows, there might of been something else in it.

The city was so quiet because everyone was in the hot spots, and I was stuck there because I couldn't off work. So not the best New Years I've had. :D

so new years at a ski hill is a gong show. I was a little apprehensive, because at first, my plans consisted of dinner with the parents and friends of family, not exactly the most exciting new years. but then i met some guys on the chair lift on new years eve day, and they invited to their hostel to party, naturally i accepted. so i got to the hostel (such a welfare room, holy sh*t), and we all drank a lot and watched hockey, we're canadians, what do you expect. then we decide that we're going to migrate to a house party the guys heard about in town, so we left with alcohol and fireworks in hand. so a little ways down, we run into about 30 other people we dont know, all going to the same party, one of them (we named him fireworks kid) had a ****load of fireworks, so we set them off, and some of the guys decided to play soccer with some of them after they'd been lit (very funny to watch). so we're walking down the street swigging whiskey and pepsi when we see cops stopped along the road, so me and one of the guys chug the bottle he had, and threw it off the side of the road, and so we pas the cops fine. one of the guys we were with got patted down, we decided it was because he was the drunkest and he looked like a pothead. so we finally get to the house party, and no joke, there must have been 200 people crammed into one little house in fernie, it was absolutely insane. i remember the countdown, being tackled into a snowbank, and trying to slide a pipe on the ground like it was a rail, it would've worked if i hadn't been so drunk. apart from that, not a whole lot else that i remember. so i think we left the party at like 2-ish, and then stopped at the 7-11 before we went back to their hostel, and now comes a very amusing part of the story. one of the guys had brought a girl back to the hostel from the party, and he had her in one of the rooms. things were getting a little heated, when one of the guys walked in on them. so he was all freaked out, all the guys who were staying in that room are freaking out cause they dont wanna sleep in a bed that people have had sex in, and just when we're all making jokes about it and wondering if he had the sense to use a condom, the guy who was getting it on with this girl came out of the room looking absolutely stunned and horrified, so we asked what happened. apparently, the girl hadn't been phazed when the guy had walked in on them, but after that, she thought she saw someone with a camera in the window, so she freaked out, and started telling our friend about how she had a boyfriend, and how she didnt want her picture taken, and then she jumped out of the window to get out of the room. we all stood there stunned, just picturing a half-naked girl scrambling out of the window onto the balcony to avoid being seen by the rest of us, and then me and one of the guys started a slow clap for him, because it was by far the funniest part of the night. and then 4 of us passed out in one room (with one double bed and a single mattress on the floor), and the other 3 passed out in the other room, woke up at 8 and dragged ourselves out of bed to go riding since it had snowed the night before. and that was my new years.

i would agree with you there, but the fact that it's new years eve isnt an excuse to get drunk, the fact that there's sh*tloads of alcohol and fireworks at hand is a good enough excuse in itself :D gotta love new years

cant believe i read jibbers long ass new years story, quite amusing though, reminded me of some kind of lost 90s teen movie. wee.
