I don't really care if you have some problem with me but constantly calling me a moron afterwards just makes it seem like you are over indulging in your owning of me.

You desrved to be called a moron. But I admire you. It's very rare that I meet someone that'll look up a word in a dictionary if they're not sure of it's meaning.
And I don't have a problem with me although you did just quote Fal. But for future reference, just know that I don't have a problem with you so long as you don't try to get one up over on me.
Now that we've straightened that out, what is your opinion on guys and younger girls?

PS: please don't make me regret asking your opinion on the topic
Peace

No, but someone I know may have been.

If you have to question whether someone is too young for you, or you are too young for them, then they/you probably are. Essentially, if you notice their age, then he age is an issue.

Personally, I wouldn't consider anyone under 18 an option. At that age, and even 18/19ish, you still have some key experiences to go through, and it is very rare for people of that age to have experienced them.

No, you were wrong because you were using an abstract or irrelevant context. Under the context to which we were referring (that of human sexuality) definition 3 "Lacking interest in or desire for sex." would be the relevant or "right" definition. You were, however, using a mix of definitions 1 and 2 in a pitiful attempt to "get one over", as it were, on Raine.

And yeah, I like calling people morons. What's life without a little overindulgence?

And to discontinue the flow of rather negative things being said about older guys dating younger women, It's kinda my fault I'm in this situation.
I met the guy at a store. we exchanged numbers and I just didn't happen to tell him I was jail bait.
One thing lead to another and by the second date I felt as though I had to tell him so I did. We talked about the age thing and he's cool with it if I'm cool with it. . . .
As for the legal aspect of our relationship and the whole statutory rape issue, I see it like this. If the common consensus is girls mature earlier than guys then it would be logical for a girl to want to date someone a little older than she int he hopes of dating someone who on their same maturity level.
If I can choose to fall for a guy and have a relationship of this caliber with a guy then I am also willing choosing to do everything ina relationship I would expect to hope to want. I am a teenager. I want and crave sex. I expect to do these things with my boyfriend.
The fact that he's older than me just means that he's cool with the age difference.
It's not like I'm dating guys who are in their forties. That's just wrong.

Peace

Girls also matur much faster then guys (at least thats what we've been told) so after going out with those(that) few guys out age then we realize there not up to the same emotion standers that we are at out maturity level.. so going out with older guys makes sense..

sense i went out with a guy that was 5 years older then me when i was 15, i haven't been able to date guys around my age..i tried it and it was the most pointless thing in my life.

I know just as many stupid 18 year old guys as I do stupid 14 year old guys.

It really depends on what age they are. I know right now guys will get **** for going out with a girl that is 2 years younger than them (I'm 15 btw). But I think that as they get older that range gets wider. My parents are 4 years apart I think. It's their choice really but sometimes it can look bad

Well, being on the other side of the generation gap now, I can say I find it extremely creepy when men date younger women.

This is only my opinion, of course, but it seems to me, a man in his late 20's- early 30's, who is seeing a woman in her mid-late teens, has real issues, psychologically.

While it's true women mature earlier, we're still talking about a woman with the maturity level of a 17 year old.

A man 10+ years older, who seeks out much younger women is one of two things: Emotionally immature, or a pedophile. Or both. He either can't relate to women his own age, or he seeks the thrill of the 'young catch'.

So on the flip-side, whats with women who like younger men? Whats the appeal? Automatically, you know the guy'll be immature to some degree, and I personally see it being too much work (dating a younger guy). Especially after my experience dating a guy 3 years younger than me...Although, I haven't seen much difference between the 20-yr-old, the 28-yr-old, or the guys who were my age. The ones my age were living similarly to me, and the 28 yr old wasn't that much better off. Of course, the 20 yr old still lived at home... I wonder how many "cougars" have sons?? Is it some type of Oedipus (sexual relation between mother&son) complex, or what??

MURDER JUNKIE 05-26-2006 02:44 AM

What is it with women that their "friends" will compete for their boyfriends?

I mean, men have a credo: Bro's before Ho's

women will seemingly screw each other over every time, whereas 9 out of 10 men wouldn't have anything to do with it because of the credo
