Provided that 'shot on sight' is used in a metaphorical sense, then I agree. Having said that, I can't remember ever actually encountering anybody who used their ethnicity as an excuse for being stupid. I've met a lot of Greeks who use their nationality as an excuse for being bloody lazy and a guy from Thailand who used it as an excuse for being antisocial... so maybe those count.

I believe that there is no such thing as 'potential' - you could only ever have achieved what you did achieve, nothing more and nothing less. Energy and effort are not seperate entities to talent, they are part of it.

I believe that prejudice is not something that just lives in the back of our minds. It is something that we can ignore and reject. Judging anyone for anything other than their character and actions is wrong.

Both agree and disagree. On many occassions, snap judgements based on appearance and maybe even generalisations can be important, such as judging that a stranger may try to mug or attack you and taking appropriate action. Judging strangers through lazy stereotyping is wrong, as is allowing your impression of new acquintances to be affected by anything other than the actions which they themselves perform... but being aware of relevant prior knowledge about any group of people can help you to anticipate certain things (sorry if that last statement is very vague!).

Agree, within the foreseeable future at least... mankind may just about have the capacity to destroy most of the life on earth, but we're able to control and adapt to our environment in ways which mean that whatever crap goes down, somebody will survive. Global warming won't kill the people in temperate, high altitude zones, nuclear war won't kill those in sparsely populated/remote areas. If an apocolyptic disease hits us, somebody will be isolated enough to survive. Sure, mankind are killers and despoilers or the environment, but we're also survivors.
