We are sorry to report that the following items have been delayed.

Gorky's Zygotic Mynci "Patio" [Audio CD]

Gorky's Zygotic Mynci "Bwyd Time" [Audio CD]

We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Wow thanks for that , only couldn`t you have told me a bit sooner.

Like in JULY 2004 when I ordered the bloody things.

Post any stories of crap customer service you`ve encountered here

I've just had some really bitchy girls serve me before because they can't control their insecurities, and old people who treat me like **** because I'm young.

Quality customer service is non-exsistant practically, I feel like I'm a rare breed (I work in a video store).

it's not all crappy customer service. As a cab driver and later on a forecourt attendant, I found 1 out of every 3 customers was a twat.So you have to ask yourself if these people in retail have to put up with the general scum of society on a regular basis, can you really blame them for their apathetic attitudes?

It's easy to find good customer service if you go to the right places, although the right places may or may not exist in your area. Independant or specialty record stores usually have some people who know what they're talking about and can give some solid reccomendations (I don't know if you guys have ever been to any of the Amoeba Record Stores in California, but they provide free booklets of employee reccomendations). Basically, any store that tries to appeal to more of a target audience, that isn't too "mainstream", or any store that does a really thorough job of providing plenty of products for all tastes should have some good people around and about.

Urban, I'll have to write down that it took them a year and a half to reply about your order. According to your experience, I only have about a year left until Barnes and Noble gets back to me about my order for Eddie Hazel's Games, Dames, and Guitar Thangs. I'm assuming they just forgot to take it off the website, since it is out of print.

I get some really horrible people I have to serve, but the point of customer service is being able to hide your anger and annoyance towards these people and not take things personally.

I used to tell them they were f*ckers

I have the unique distinction of dealing with truckers. You can't piss off a trucker, I routinely tell them to FUKK OFF and they for some reason or another consider it a term of endearment. WIERD

I`m so glad my customer service days are over.

Apart from the occasional phone call.
