I once thought I saw a Transco van outside my house, but there wasn't. I don't know what made me think of Transco!!! - Weird.... :o: http://images.scotsman.com/2005/08/26/26trab.jpg |
I believe ghosts exist because where do you think people get those crazy pictures from and all those great stories from.
I totally think ghosts exist because all the time I feel some breeze in my house going straight past me and I think it's pretty creepy. So yes, I believe in them. |
Yes.
Casper  I want one! |

There's a building in the town where I live which is the ruins of 'Windleshaw Chantry', built in 1435. I've taken some pictures of the building in the dark, and some weird flashes of light and bright shapes appeared on the prints which I could not see when I took the photographs. And no, it wasn't "the camera's flash" - I didn't use flash. Here's someone else's photograph of the same church. http://www.sthelenschat.co.uk/abbey.jpg |
i dont belive in them but if i saw one then i would
|
^ As you've probably guessed, it feels really weird if you think you've just seen a ghost, because you can't really explain what it is, where it is, or where it comes from. Ghost hunting trips are VERY exciting!! They don't really come up with much, though.
Maybe ghosts only make appearances when they're NOT being looked for!! |

Its like coming up with a random excuse. EXPLANATION: My logic in that was like the world is round, so if one side is straight up, then the other side is likely to be down. Just didn't want to confuse you, haha. |
But the people on the other side of the world are upside down...
now I'm confused. |
I woke up once and sat up in bed to see the face of a pale, old woman with sunken black eyes and grey, wrinkled skin staring at me, directly into my face from just a foot away. Pretty damn scary. I hid under the covers and went to sleep after a bit.

Turned out it was just the bird I'd brought back from the pub. Didn't look so hot once the beer goggles had slipped.

He had two dogs that refused to go upstairs and at times they would stand at the bottom of the stairs and bark like crazy for no good reason. |

Maybe I should wait until I actually see one before I actually believe there is any. Anyway I still do believe in ghosts even if they're not real. |

Not this forum, I meant humanity in general. |
Huh? what are you talking about.
All i said was that I believed in ghosts, what's wrong with that? |
I don't believe in the Bible. I dont believe in the afterlife whatsoever. Therefore I do not believe in ghosts. I think they are a big load of bullcrap, and a hoax. The stories people tell about them are definitely entertaining, but many people just make things up or exagerate them in their heads so that they'll have something to tell their friends about. Sure, people may say they saw them, but people have proven that things such as that can possibly be natural effects on a camera. Just seems a little too.....hard to believe, for me.
|
That's true.
A person should have proof of a ghost sighting because if they didn't than it would be pretty hard to believe someone who hasn't gotten proof. |

And I don't think that there's anything wrong with believing in ghosts - - because I do! People can believe what they want. :thumb: Quote:
Not that I want to get involved in this, but why are you so nasty to people?? - |
I'm not so nasty to people I just sometimes have a bad day is all.

are there ghost insects? and ghost animals?
when we die, we do just that, we die. dead. nothing. we become an object, a piece of meat. |
Sppf.
Ghost stories just started with paranoia.. People always think they're being watched. Inivisible people just makes sense. And everyone has a fear of death. Eh. Its not that I dont believe in an afterlife, cause I do. I cant begin to imagine what would be if there was nothing, I know that makes no sense, but I just dont see how we can be in nothing. Anyway... Ghosts, I dont believe in. I dont see why , after we die, only a select few would have to stay around here, transparent and floating in order to cause havoc. |
I'm the other way around. I don't believe in any real afterlife, but at the same time I try my best to believe in ghosts because it makes ghost stories and ghost movies a whole lot scarier if you do! Those two beliefs probably contradict each other. Who cares.
|
bollocks to ghosts, probably something everyones seeing that we just dont understand, i personally dont think they're spirits of an afterlife, reincarnation is what sounds more plausable without being realistic and morbid and saying we rott and then there is nothing, plus i kinda like the idea of coming back as something else:D.
