Shocking Pictures

I was watching a documentary on Channel 4 last night called 'Falling Man' about a man who jumped from the Twin Towers. It was shocking for so many reasons, but for some reason you couldn't put your finger on it why it was so shocking. I was just wondering whether anyone has got any shocking pictures they would like to share? They don't have to be gore filled or anything to be shocking, just those kind of pictures that really take your breath away. Like the picture of the guy standing on top of the World Trade having his photo taken, and you can see the plane coming towards the building. Post pictures if you have them, please.

This photograph taken by Jeff Widener of the 'tank man' stopping a column of tanks on its way to Tiananmen Square, never fails to amaze me.
Even when the tanks tried to go around him he still wouldn't let them pass.

I heard that the girls clothes had been burnt off or something. Is that true?

Urban Hat€monger ? 03-17-2006 02:25 PM

It`s possible , I remember watching a documentary about it a while back & they said that the whole of her back was covered in burns
