Make it into a .rar file that should compress it a little, then use YSI or AIM or MSN to upload it to the person. Sure it would be easier for you to make an FTP but who would go though all that trouble for one thing?

this is a desperaste attempt, but im stuck in a sachool and i recall you saying something about being able to get through like school parental blocks and such, if you happen to be online in the next 30 minites or if anyone else knows how to, link us...

Adidasss, you need to check the master/slave settings on the back of the drive. You can have two drives per cable, one should be the master, and one should be the slave. Once you have done this, check the BIOS to ensure both are detected. If you still have a problem post back.

Decoy, best anti-virus package, in my opinion, is AVG. It is free (http://free.grisoft.com) and unobtrusive. I would never recommend any of the larger AV packages (Norton et al) since they're all bloated, PC wrecking, heaps of junk.

AVG is nice, but not if you ahve windows xp 64 bit ed. the only antivirus you can use with that is avast anti virus..its good actually

yeah, i thought about that, but decided it was easier to just unplug the cd burner, i'm not gonna use it now anyways....maybe i'll do the master slave thing later....and that came out wrong...i'm assuming the regular cd was set on slave and the dvd burner was on master and i didn't change it....thanks for the advice..

btw, i tried accessing the bios but it asked me for a password and i don't have it...:-/
so yeah, it's working now...
