...oops...

I know I'm a terrible person for doing this:

On the drive back from the BTBAM show. I decided to do some stupid ****.

A) attempting to drive backwards on Route 1.
B) Passed a car on the wrong side of the road goin 80-90 miles an hour.
C) Ran a red light. (i swear i thought it was green)

so we're having a good time and pull into to KFC for some food. A ****ing off duty cop comes up, says he's been following me and wants to see my licsense. He makes me sweat for 5 minutes, lectures me, and tells me that he's only gonna call my parents on Monday.

god damn it.

I'm intercepting that ****ing call. I DO NOT want to be grounded all summer like last year

hiu 05-19-2006 10:51 PM

He won't do it. Just deny everything. Deny and continue to deny and then deny. He was off duty so I highly doubt he will ring you anyway.

riseagainstrocks 05-19-2006 10:54 PM

I really really hope so. To be on the safe side, I'm chillin by the phone Monday and Tuesday. I can sound like and adult on the phone, so I think I can pull it off.

Five bucks, or I cut and paste this whole thread and send it to your folks.

MURDER JUNKIE 05-20-2006 12:49 AM

He was off-duty, he just wanted to let you know that you were driving like an ass hole. 10 bucks says that he doesn't call, he just wanted to make you sweat

bungalow 05-20-2006 12:50 AM

Did you give him your number? <-----That may be a dumb question

Agreed, but i'd still wait by the phone just incase.

rudgrljungalist 05-20-2006 03:02 AM

This sounds like the really bad premise of a really bad tv show. I think if he shook you up (sounds like it), you learned a lesson, thats your karma. You better carry the cordless around for a few days!!

hahahahaha

but seriously that would suck :(

bruise_violet 05-20-2006 09:41 AM

Oh man that SUCKS! Hope things work out OK... and don't show off next time :p:

mosesandtherubberducky 05-20-2006 10:47 AM

RAR, this is when you keep the phone glued to your hand and get a scratchy throat.

^.^ I wouldn't have that problem cause I can get my sister to pose as my legal guardian if I get in deep sh*t.

bruise_violet 05-20-2006 10:53 AM

Jealous! My sister is 11 :(

mosesandtherubberducky 05-20-2006 11:06 AM

I've got two, one's 24 and the other is around 30 (I don't like her though).:( I'M SO BORED!

bruise_violet 05-20-2006 11:08 AM

Me too actually, I missed my morning protest in Belfast :(

Slightly off topic sorry!

IamAlejo 05-20-2006 11:12 AM

Deny it.

1. Doubt he calls. If he wanted to call, he would have called on the spot, or even today.
2. Even if he does call and talks to your parents, deny everything. Did he write down your license plate number and such?
3. Say its a friend trying to pull a prank on you.

This has to be done before he calls...

...Tell your parents this story how one of your mates played a great trick on someone. Tell them how funny it was that this lads parents fell for the joke, when this bogus policeman phoned claiming their son had committed a minor crime and how stupid his parents were because they believed it all.
Tell them how you can't believe his parents took the joker seriously..."after all if he had done something wrong they would have charged him there and then."

bruise_violet 05-20-2006 01:31 PM

^^^ Excellent idea!

swim 05-20-2006 02:50 PM

Did he even prove he was an off duty cop? He might've just been shitin you to scare some sense into you. Because off duty cops can still take action and if he was going to do anything he wouldve done it then. And don't make up some elaborate story just hang by the phone for a few days.

Barnard17 05-20-2006 04:12 PM

Here's a hint RAR. Cars and the road aren't the right place to do stupid **** on.

Crowe 05-20-2006 07:11 PM

Who is being moderated now, huh?! :P

I was just thinking about that...

Barnard17 05-21-2006 05:37 PM

I just realised how much of a jerk I looked like in that post. I had a major failure of emoticon ;)

But yeah, driving backwards down roads=bad :P

Kripes 05-21-2006 07:22 PM

As everyone else says, he probably won't call. But hang around the phone a couple days just in case and don't try that story. If your parents are smart they'll figure it out.

dog 05-23-2006 06:01 AM

you dont get any mileage if you drive backwards.
