downloading?!

i know this is an old topic, but i think its rediculous what it has turned into...any thoughts on this moral dilemma?

adidasss 06-29-2006 01:50 PM

what dilemma?

Fenixpunk 06-29-2006 01:51 PM

only dilema i run into is where to stash all the downloaded porn where my kids wont stumble across it.

ArtistInTheAmbulance 06-29-2006 01:52 PM

die.
its not a moral dilemma.
you download if youre broke &/or lazy. or just trying out a new band.
you dont if you want to support or are completely loaded.
k.

I see nothing wrong with downloading.
It's like shopping on the internet. for free. :)

But I only have a problem with it when it comes to certain items.
Like movies and music.
If I'm a big fan of a particular musician or actress, I wanan prove t to them by actually going ou and buying their merchandise.

As for porn . . .
I don't understand why people download or buy it.
For starters, you can always make your own, and for another thing wouldn't you rather have a porno mag rather thand ownloaded images on your computer? Youc an take the mag where ever you go. You can only go so far and so many places with your pc.
But that's just me.

what the hell do you mean what its turned into, it hasnt turned into anything, its just there, and agreed with what AITA said. its not a moral dilemma you pleb, a moral dilemma is like euthanasia or abortion not downloading a couple of songs or getting some wacking material off the internet. i download songs off the internet but i seriously doubt that im part of some moral dilemma that is effecting the minds of the human race. ^ what a tit.

Music should be heard , thats the point.

Why should I pay someone for something they did for a couple of weeks back in 1972. You wanna make money go play live.

It seems to do more good than bad.
Take the Artic Monkeys and Gnarls Barkley as examples.
In both cases their music was available for free and both had instant chart success, earning the record companies thousands.
Proving that if music is easily available in the first place, then people will go out and buy the releases.

Beats the shit out of me what the dilemma is.
