hmmm

I have the iriver and it fecked up majorly recently, although Ipods are even worse for doing that. It still works, but it's a bit temperamental and it has a habit of shuffling albums which can be really bloody annoying.

My iPod freezes at least once a week now, but I still love it. I don't think I could change to another type of mp3 player after 2 years of iPod joy.

^ Mine did that once, and the song timer just froze on 23 seconds. Didn't know what the hell was goin on.

I'm with right-track the things are fragile as. Mine still works but I know someday it's gonna fault and I'll be minus a whole lot of music.

so you're saying it's purdy-ness isn't worth the money or the potential problems?

Na, mind you they all have their flaws, I just suggest buying a bulky thing so if you drop it it won't obliterate

I'm suprised Microsoft haven't really done anything to compete with Apple actually.

Oh and I have a question, is there anyway at all to get music off the ipod once it's on there? Like a software program or summin. Cause I have a lot of music on my pod that I don't actaully have on disc or pc, so when it breaks, I don't want to lose it.

Well i know you can't upload off it, so that implies you can't, unless you can do it with itunes. ipods are made so that they look cool until you try and do anything slightly more advanced. then they crash, and you're told to buy a new one.
