The Doctor Who Appreciation Thread

I don't know why I made this...I felt inspired after reading a certain eleven page thread somewhere around here. ;)

I'm really into the latest Doctor Who series. Mainly because of a certain little hot sidekick. *drools*

Who is into the Doctor Who series? My favorite doctor is the one Colin Baker played. "Trial of the Time Lord" is a masterpiece. :)

I watched this one day, I hated it.
This show is so dumb.

I just can`t stand the Colin Baker era in all it`s glorious technocolour pantomine cheapness.

It looks so... unbearably cheesy?

Wonderful...I let my lad stay up for this every Saturday night, like I did when I was a kid.
Scares the shit out of him, but he loves it.

The new look Dr.Who is miles better than it used to be.
But I bet you'll disagree Urban. :)

Now that it`s 45 mins an episode they can`t do that & there`s a lot more emphesis of characterisation.

I agree that the new series overall is the best, but Colin is still the best Doctor.

I liked the latest Doctor, but they replaced him right after only one season. :-\

Human Nature is an excellent read , Lungbarrow is good too , it`s a little long winded but it gives some of the reasons as to why the Doctor left Gallifrey in the first place.Although it answers them with even more questions.
The Dying Days is supposed to be good to but i`ve not got around to reading it.

But the best book i`ve ever read is this one.....
