robert downey jr. didnt sleep for around a month, as a result of that he started getting real crazy and was pulled over by cops when he was speeding down a road, driving naked trying to "throw out" rats that he was imagining. wee.

the word rosebud in citizen kane is used as a reference orson welles had for his wifes vag.

syd barrett (high on lsd) walked around really slowly with a pear in one hand and an orange in the other, thinking they were planets.

at a party my friend got really screwed on lsd and thought he was an orange and wouldnt let anyone go near him because he thought they'd try and eat him.

the reason we have a whole picture of earth is because a photographer (forgot his name) was sitting on a balcony (again, high on lsd) looking off into the horizon and saw it curving, and got the idea.

The way I heard it, it was William Randolph Hearst's (who the movie was basically based on), not Welles'.
