I don't know if mine is weird or not. I think it is, but as I don't tend to mention it I can't really know.

I'm scared of heights, which is terribly common I know but i'd probably be alright being up a height and looking DOWN but i can't be on the ground and look UP. For example rather large open buildings with insanely high ceilings like churches or castles. Some seated theatres or venues can do it as well. I can't tilt my head up and look around up towards the ceiling, especially if im in the balcony. I need to sit forward a little and make sure I keep my eyes fixed on the stage and am not even tempted to look a little higher.

I can't really explain it, it just makes me feel dizzy and disorientated and I reckon if I were to just chance it I would just need to get the hell out of there afterwards unless I wanted to be sick.

That sounds kinda like the opposite of clasterphobia (sp?) i forget what its called though. Fear of big open spaces... yes? no?

Big open spaces don't bother me really. Just places like theatres and especially churches. If i can stand in it and look way up, it's no good.

I used to have a phobia for cockroaches, but now i just get slightly bothered without even trying to kill them [tho not stay in the same room with them]

When I was a kid I used to sleep with the lights on, cause the shadows formed in the dark made me feel the presence of some beasts on my bed. I could never know what these shadows were, so my imagination filled the gaps, what would eventually leave me running for the switch to get the lights on.
It was for last year till I was capable to sleep in the dark. The fear of the shadows had evolved into a more metaphysical one with time. Darkness made me think of the void, space and death ... it made me claustrophobic. I get the same feeling when I think of eternal never ending concepts, like when an eternal life after death or an eternal nothingness, a concept that the dark reminded me of.

I have a monkey related phobia... I'd rather not say why.
