A healthy tan is lovely - makes everyone look healthier - Im very pale anyway - until I went on a cruise last Summer and realised how much I like my skin when it glows!!

Well, I take the fact that it's nigh on impossible to anything more than a very light tan in England, or elsewhere in Northern Europe in general, by doing any normal activities to show that naturally white skinned people should never want to get much of a tan. The phrase 'healthy tan' kind of contradicts itself.

In all studying of the matter people get defensive a) when protecting someone close or b) in the physical sense, of danger to ones own body, personal insult that holds ground, or fear, lack thereof, or overconfidence.

In short, people minds tell them to be defensive when people should in fact accept truth, and realize that some invention is not going to help how they look, it makes you fake and plastic. Same with tanning, though as DRMO stated in the above, a tan from work, or sport activities is perfectly natural, otherwise you shall end up as a leatherface. not that really matters seeing as the rate were going we will al need sun protection factor 347 in about 30 years. Lipstick is another concern, seeing as its on the lips, which are in very close prozimity to the tounge, which of course licks the lips, and if you put 1 and 1 together, and buildup, and prolonged exposure.... mm im made of **** hooray

They say the skin needs a good amount of sun light to be healthy, even eyes need sunlight to be healthy, so I can sort of see what they mean about a healthy tan. Time in the sun would make you browner, though that would vary depending on where you live, like you pointed out.

A couple more weeks in Aus and you might have browned a little, DRMO:)

Make up is nothing like clothes, clothes aren't terrible for your skin.

However it is an image thing so certain people who I won't name shut the fuck up. People have their own opinion of aesthetics.

Again, Mikey. You starved yourself to be thinner, quote, "I want to be skinny like Jim Morrison and David Bowie." Again with the glam rock phase... stop being one big giant contradiction and hipocrite, would ya?
