Battlebots Appr. Thread

Does anyone remember that show Battlebots? People would build radio controlled machines and they would fight each other using spinning disks, pneumatic flippers, hudraulic jaws, and other weapons of sheer mayhem. When I was a kid I used to take apart my RC cars and try to make little battlebots out of them, duct taping a steak knives to them and such. Good times. My favorites were always Razer and Chaos 2.

Shit yeah, I think I watched what must have been the british equivalent, called Robot Wars. These things were so cool, I wish they'd come back to telly. Beats the shitty 'Make-building-Chopper-bikes-a-soap-opera' styled programs we get instead these days.

Complete carnage, it was great!

I remember Robot Wars. With Shunt and Matilda and such. I liked how they'd drop a washing machine on the losing robot:laughing:

I never watched Battlebots, but I remember Robot Wars. That was an awesome show

I liked how the parents would sometimes let their little kids control the robots and then theyd lose and get their robot destroyed and start crying. That was the funniest sh*t ever.

Only YOU would create a battlebots appreciation thread. lol.

My son and I love to watch this sh*t. We will even draw schematics for and pictures of our own Battlebots. I plan to make one someday.
