I know music technically. I've been in a top choir for years and in a decent orchestra for nine years, so I read and comprehend music quite well. I took music theory for a year in high school and AP music theory for a semester in college so I can compose melodies using structures and have a pretty damn good ear for music.

At my high school there were three choirs. First is open to anyone, second is audition only and third is invitation only, a 15 person choir, in top five groups in the state. If you read above, I was in the top choir for three years out of four(in which one year I was not in any choir at all) and have been somewhat classically trained for state competitions as a soloist. Same with orchestra, three groups. I was only in the second group playing cello because I honestly dont like it too much. And then there is music theory. I know my s hit. Im not saying I was in just any high school choir and I'm the s hit. I'm just not a musical retard, and I dont appreciate being threated as such. Unfortunately I cannot persue more in college because I only have the finances for gen. ed. and major classes for journalism. Sucks for me.
