how does this tatto parlor sound to you?

"Our staff works very hard at maintaining a very high level of cleanliness. Our tattoo and piercing rooms are considered "clean rooms." They contain nothing porous so all surfaces are able to be sanitized. We use only single use disposable sterilized needles.

All instruments are cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner before being sterilized in our on premises autoclave (hospital sterilizer). Current spore test results are on display near the autoclave. Stop in for a tour of our 2 floor studio."

I've been to this place before for a piercing at their old location but I've never been in a tattoo parlor so I don't know what to look for. Any advice?

just curious, what are you getting a tattoo of?

i would go check them out in person before making any decisions.

yo son, why dont you get a 'spiritual' celtic design on yo lower back or a dolphin on yo shoulder.

DontRunMeOver 01-31-2007 07:10 AM

They have an autoclave??!?

That place sounds very clean, doesn't it. I'd be more worried that they'd only be interested in tattooing mathematical formulai, escher pictures or quotes from Terry Pratchett on you at that rate.

go for a tour, and don't get a tattoo that sucks

I think skills are more important than hygiene... You do not want a crooked tattoo, or a deformed chicken for all I care. Tattooshops usually have pictures of tattoos they did, just check those out. And be critical, they only put up their best!

I play the autoclave a little bit.

it sond very clean like the place i got my tattoo, even though they only use the nealdes once for tattoing to insure the least amount of pain and compleate sharpness, they sound good, go tour them and make sure everything is how you like it if so, get your tattoo there, if you can, speak to the man who owns the place

Mouseketeer 01-31-2007 12:12 PM

Don't get a tattoo, they're not cool.
