And frankly the new Vista interface is as sexy, if not more so. And I think you need to secure use of garageband by buying iLife for like, £50. Other than that I believe it's trial only. Don't take my word on that though. I do admit I've been wanting to pick up a Mac for ages. |
well apparently vista is buggy as hell, and i can just download skins for xp that make it look like vista. Ive yet to see any real upgrades, while apple has had vista's features for a while.

i used to have this indian guys linux he gave me on cd somewhere, he built most of it himself or something, i thought it was stupid when i used it, but that was a year ago.
