Default how much do you work / vacation

so i read this article in time magazine about how much people work and vacation based on country. being american i became very jealous and upset when i noticed that we are getting RIPPED OFF. although we obviously notice benfits from all the work we do, i still think we would do better with some more freetime. just some noteworthy things i saw:

-americans average 2 weeks vacation a year and there is no legal minimum.
-most countries average 4 weeks of vacation a year and there is a legal minimum arond 2-4 weeks.
-americans have no maximum hours of work per week, and typically work between 40-60 hours a week.
-countries such as france have a MAXIMUM of 35 hours per week (5 less than the standard in america)

so i feel like im getting the shaft, and i want to know how much you guys work/vacation

20 days annual leave.

And as much skiveing off as is humanly possible.

I work 6 days a week totalling 54 hours. I also walk to and from work every day which is two miles away which adds another hour to my day.

I get 20 days holiday.
NO bank holidays.
3 days off over xmas.
