Default Movies You Plan To See.

this thread is about movies that you want to see when they come out,
and predictions about those movies based on their prequels, if they had any.

I'm stoked to see The Darjeeling Limited, mainly because Anderson's other works have been so influential on me,
(i.e. The Life Aquatic & The Royal Tenebaums)

I thought the Royal Tenebaums was pretty bleak and boring.

I'd like to see Control, the new Ian Curtis biopic. There's also a scary film I saw advertised when I went to see Superbad the other day (awful film) which is adapted from a graphic novel. I think it's called 30 Days Of Night, or something. It looks pretty cool.

I think Anderson's work is boring as hell TBH. The word QUIRKY was invented for these sort of films-and i hate QUIRKY.

Ugh, yeah, I watched all of The Life Aquatic and it felt as though it was about 6 hours long, it was TOO dry for my tastes.

I hear that there is supposed to be a Beowulf movie sometime soon that I will, even though I hear it's going to suck, because Angelina Jolie is going to be playing the lady of the water, which is from King Arthur, so it sounds like they're mixing stuff which will piss me off.

I'm sorry but whenever America tries to do British Myths they fúck it up big style. It would be like a western shot in Britain-it just does'nt work. You into the Arthurian myth Dave?

A little bit, I used to be really big into it, but haven't read much in the past year or so outside of Sir Gawain And The Green Knight.

Why wouldn't a Western in Britain work? Italy made spaghetti westerns. We could call them Tea & Crumpet westerns.

This movie was a huge botch up. shane Meadows is an incredibly talented film director, but this film was severly edited and ends up as one big mess. A huge stain on an otherwise superlative catalogues of movies from Mr meadows.
