I tried acid in college a

The way I described it was I got so high I shot through the clouds and saw God.

i still haven't really done acid. i took 1 hit one time and it didn't do anything. love shrooms tho. how would you compare them?

'Cause um... I've done a lot of acid, and that seems a little exaggerated.

I think I made a post about 8 or 9 pages back describing the differences, to me anyway, but I'll say that it's very similar in most ways. The major differences are the body feel and the geometry of the persistent visuals. At higher doses of both, the intensity can be quite high and disorienting, but you can see and feel differences in the psychoactive effects.
Personally I prefer acid, as you don't have to take as large of a dosage to get off and I like the more electric feel of it. Mushies don't have a very pleasant taste, to boot. But the spiritual side of me gets more meaning from a shroom trip than an acid trip. Acid is mostly a confuser to me. Like watching a light show for the sake of the lights. Shrooms are more of the forces behind the light show.

They both were sort of the same with me.

And tip, smoke weed after you do any hallucinogen. If you smoked, even after one hit, you'll feel super high. That's a policy I have, whenever I do a drug, I smoke weed with it. It brings the effects out to the fore.

Well, it was a couple of months ago. It wasn't so much I saw god, because I didn't visually hallucinate with either, but...I was put into a higher state of awareness than I've ever been. I was sharp, all my jokes were landing, I was contemplating life and everything around me, I was highly emotional and people commented I was extremely outgoing and such. I was on, on every level, full of physical energy, thinking deeply, and felt very spiritua.

I meant 'saw god' in a figurative sense, sorry to confuse you, hehe, things clicked in my head. My other friends who were with me and who were much more experienced with it said I must have gotten really pure stuff.

Yes.
Weed after acid especially. Even if you've not got a lot of cid and don't really get off well.

I remember doing a hit with my brother in law and sister, and didn't really get off well, so we smoked a couple bowls of KB and looked at Salvador Dali paintings online for hours... The weed definitely amplified the visuals and put it all in a surreal state.

I can say one thing... definitely look at Dali paintings while in a visually surreal state. It's like it was made for it. Amazing.
