I went to my friends a couple of weeks ago and he randomly overdosed on some sort of pills and was taking seizures. Probably one of the worst experiences I have encountered. It was so ****in scary. Doubt I will ever take pharmaceuticals that I'm not prescribed now. Unless it's an odd Valium to help me sleep.

I also seen someone on ecstasy for the first time when I wasn't taking it, the guy was freaking me out.

I'm pretty cautious about drugs now, I'll stick with my weed thx.

I'm not recommending you take E but I have had it a couple of times myself and it was great! You basically feel really happy, warm and relaxed. I took it for the many music festivals I have been to. Only one time I had a negative experience was a pill that had BZP mixed into it (it can be hard to get a pure E) and I was have up times and really depressive lows, it came in waves. It was really annoying because we went into the boiler room to see Prodigy who were amazing, but the heat was making me feel crap along with the BZP effects. I did really enjoy seeing them but I probably won't take drugs in festivals any more, just drink instead.

Anyone ever tripped alone their first time trippin?

I don't have dependable/trustworthy/decent friends but have always wanted to try shrooms. I've little experience with drugs, smoked weed a couple times but was indifferent. Did E once and it was okay. I've always been a drinker when it comes to vices. I worry because everything I've heard and read says that shrooms are really iffy for people who can be emotionally unstable and I've dealt with clinical depression and anxiety problems for about 8 years now. If I don't have someone with me and things go down hill what's the worst that could happen? I was just planning on hanging out in my room and painting, hanging out at the beach, or watching a movie. Alice on Wonderland + Shrooms = fun times from what I hear.

Not the first time but a lot of times, I have a lot of different ways I'd deal with similar anxieties, if you need advice (detailed bc I dont feel like typing it out right now) pm me. I got really good at anchoring myself when tripping out of my ****ing mind to the point where it actually helps in other facets of my life, like especially if one of my friends is having non-drug induced anxiety and depersonalisation so I'm really proud of myself

but yeah I have five pounds of poppy seeds coming to my door tomorrow affie

WEEKENDDDDDDD!!!!

My first time doing acid was alone. Not anything else though.

Yeah, first time I did shrooms I did 'em by myself (I actually did them with my older brother's best friend, but he freaked out 45 minutes after drinking the tea, f*cked off, and left me to it). It was a profound experience. I could see the trees in the garden blowing in the wind through the walls, see the stars through the ceiling, my dogs turned into wolves, paintings ran out of their frames, at one point I thought I'd died as I was floating above my body looking down. Never been the same since really. It was a turning point.

You mention you have anxiety and clinical depression, my advice is DON'T TAKE psychedelics. They're non-toxic so there's no physical danger (unless you do something silly like jump out of a window thinking you can fly :D), but they are known to exasperate existing/hidden mental problems. If you do decide to take 'em, tripping on your own can be good, it all depends on what's going on in your subconscious. Having someone around will prevent you falling into yourself, prevent you from analysing each and every crazy thought and emotion. Whether that's a good thing or not depends on the thoughts. Bon voyage if you do decide to go ahead. :)

They can be. Emphasis on can. Haha. He might go completely nuts.

Mondo Bungle 11-09-2013 01:00 AM

Well, that's not true. At least not in the long run. See article #2

Mr. Charlie 11-09-2013 01:31 AM

I dunno, man. I know two people who are completely f*cked up through taking psychedelics. The first guy, he was really outgoing and charsomatic, he dropped LSD and that was it. Agraphobic. He ain't left the house for coming on 12 years. Whatever mental problems he had lying dormant, the LSD awoke it.

Another guy I know, quite sane, took LSD and he's now lost to the world. Nobody can talk to him anymore, he makes no sense. His mind, his presence, they're gone.
