I picked my name because Elliot Smith sucks...

No in reality its a combo of a Tom Waits song/Album "rain dogs" and a white stripes song "the big 3 killed my baby."

I started this idea at a website called Shoutweb, back when it had a forum and was vital (and wasn't the internet version of Hit Parader). My name there was MetalliCake for my love of the two bands.

One day, when they mysteriously removed the forum aspect of the site (I don't know what rocket scientist did that one because without it the site is ****) I googled "musical debate", wound up here and used the same formula to derive this bute of a moniker.

I had every intention of being RainDog for short (as you can see in my alt country thread) but people determine lanuguage, and thusly I am Big3.

Huge. I've seen them a handful of times, I own all the albums and have a few rarities, still nothings better than the Acoustic Version of the 4 horseman with John Popper from Blues Traveler. I love songs that prove their brilliant musicians.

What did you have me pegged as?
