you are so very predictable you know that right, (if someone is rude to me i'm rude back)why i called you a snob is because you're so pessimistic towards art (as far as i can see), art and music were things created by the optimistic and free-minded and meant for anyone to view

Illustrator + i-pen = easy

I liked your little blob thing, it'd look cool in turquoise

I just hate when people refer to themselves as "Artists" or when they refer to their work as "Art". It's a word used by pretentious people to give their work some legitimacy, and I don't think you need that.

However, please don't talk about how Art began, you're just embarrassing yourself.

I gotta be honest and say I don't really like Stone Bird's work either.

I can appreciate most forms of art but I don't really dig color field art. There are exceptions, Hans Hoffman has some really interesting stuff, because his work at least has some real contrast and interplay with colors.

I'm not really getting that here. It reminds me of a paper towel soaking up a cat urine stain. Sorry.

The thing is, when you talk about abstract painting, you talk about a "concept", and not "oh, this looks pretty/interesting".

That's my problem, like I have said over a billion times, art (weither that be visual art or music) is a purely aesthetic thing for me.

I especially hate art that doesn't value the aesthetic at all, only the "meaning". This is why I hate conceptual art.
