I went to the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla for my birthday, and it was pretty interesting. The pieces there were strange, quite a few were like ordinary household items. So I devised a plan to place my blue pen leaning off of a ledge in the art section to trick people into thinking that it's one of the Museum's pieces.

Since anyone under 25 gets in for free, I returned after work on Friday and found that my pen had stayed in the same place for a little less than a month. I officially have a piece at the Museum of Contemporary Art! I wish I had taken a photo but my phone was dead .

If you had taken a picture and posted the story on Tumblr or something you could have said the entire thing was actually a performance piece, thus confusing everyone further.
