Default Issue Five of Feel The Word Magazine Now Up!

Home | Feel The Word Magazine

Five issues in? Really?

I sure as hell didn’t see that coming.

But we’re indeed still here. And I’d venture to say that we’ve got a great issue this month. Our absurdly resourceful Assistant Editor, Amber Vilate has an interview with musician Jason Kanakis. For those of you who have no idea who this incredibly talented guy is, check him out and wonder where you’ve been all this time. And of course, we’ve got some great poetry and short fiction, from a powerhouse short story from film critic Dan Schneider (who also contributes another of his excellent film reviews to this month’s issue) to pieces from Wayne Scheer and Peter B. Diseth. And then, there’s poetry from talents like Frank Orvalle, Nancy Ames, U.V. Ray, Lee Uhen and Benjamin Nardolilli. And it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t bring some of the best in film and music review. Besides regulars Dan Schneider, Norbert Brown and Ethan Smith, we’ve also got work from newcomers Michael Tezner and Adam Fisch.

So, get comfortable, order a couple of drinks, walk the vaguely mean streets of wherever you’re hailing from and check out what is definitely our strongest issue to date.

And what the hell, while you’re at it, check out our new wiki page and mailing list.

Again, thanks for looking us up. And as always, we’re looking for submissions in all areas, so be sure to look up our guidelines while you’re here.

You know, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Lord knows we are.

I know.

If he isn't getting mad ass already, I'll be surprised as hell.

I'm surprised too =[ Rumor has it he's working on a review of the Delux Edition of Beck's Odelay.

I'm glad you have a review of I Am Curious Yellow and I Am Curious Blue.
I'm getting up the The Fall's I Am Kurious Oranj in my review thread and obviously those 2 films were an influence on it. So a bit of background on them is a help.

Well, if you get a striking urge to send something our way, go for it.

I might send a couple of reviews in. Maybe one film review and one album review.

That would just be really awesome, man.

We're running a great interview with Jill Sobule for this upcoming March issue, and I'd love to have some really strong material to go along with it.

Anything you (or anyone else) can send would be just terrific.

So you can just send in a review, and you'll consider putting it up?

Ah, nvm. Read the site. So what would a 'part time' music writing job entail, exactly? A certain number of reviews a month?
