Not sure if you're serious or not but it's always bugged me that making fun of short or fat people is somehow ok. How is that any different to making fun of someone's race? Yet the same people who get oh so pious about racism will turn around and call someone a midget. How many times do you think short people hear that joke over their lifetime? And the last Biggest Loser show here was marketed as some sort of fat people torture snuff. I found it quite bizarre.

The line of logic on overweight people is that "it's their fault, thus it's fair game". I don't agree with this, but that is the excuse you will get from anyone who defends it.

I was only joking but you do make a good point. The fat people getting made fun of is due to them being "not able to stop eating and putting themselves in that situation". Short people being made fun of shouldn't even fit into that train of thought because they were just born that way. They can't help it if they are short.

Don't even get me started on The Biggest Loser. I refuse to watch that show. I've heard some horror stories behind the scenes of the kind of things the contest are doing to force rapid weight loss while at that camp. It's very unhealthy.
