I think the biggest thing is just to cut down on my beer consumption and replace it with good ol' fashioned hard liquor.

Calories?

So no milk, fish, healthy fish oils, meat, eggs, poultry and so on?

Jesus! that sounds a lot like the diet plan Karen Carpenter used.

FWP's

Freakin shop flunkies keep parking the golf cart (used to get around the grounds here) in my parking spot, and they think it's funny that I have to get out of my car and move it in the morning, and when I get back from lunch. I'm taking a fuking forklift and setting it on the shop roof.

Who's funny now motherfukers!

I think it goes further. They don't wear leather or any animal by-priduct, so god knows what sort of shoes you're supposed to wear. But yeah, nothing remotely connected with animals in any way. Seems a little OTT (says he as he tucks into his beef burger...)

I don't feel like explaining vegan VS vegetarian, but no diet will help you lose weight if you aren't going to exercise.
Diets high in protein (of any kind, even dairy) can help not to gain. As long as you don't eat cheese blocks dipped in sour cream as all 3 meals. Although even then you'd meet protein requirements. Protein burns fat.
The average person needs 60 gms daily, but other sources say 1/2 that. When I was vegan it felt like everyday was a fight to get 30 gms through plant, nut, and beans.
