Tooth extraction, root canals, and cavities are the worst offenders for high fees apparently. Rightly so, since more work is involved, but still they are quite ridiculous.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth out when I was still covered under my dad's work insurance, they paid for the whole thing. But I wouldn't know how much a root canal or cavity fillings cost since I've never had either.
