It sounds like you're saying it's not decent clothing unless it isn't sexually provoking to the man, but I'm sure that's not what you mean...

The dress codes in hospitality (bar work mostly) were equally easy for men and women. If it weren't just uniforms given out by the business, the only code was black and closed shoes. Men and women could wear revealing clothes. But since it's an industry specifically aimed to appease and adapt to some-what uninhibited leisure scenarios it was appropriate.

I got away with shorts and singlets all the time since we were competing with the gay bars who could work with next to no clothing. :]

Hey, if it was my class I'd let you where nothing if you wanted. In fact I might just give extra credit.

That's why I posted the linked to that Utah article. I'm making fun of those officials and their thought processes.

Don't make all men the bad guys here other women also think like this, while in your case the guy was wrong ppl should be held accountable for what they wear and should follow a formal dress code in some places.

As a man i can't think like a woman, i don't understand how some women wear skimpy revealing clothing and then expect not to be judged or harassed by it.
yet if i dress like a hobo im sure they would treat me like a hobo, but when it comes to what women should wear some girls think they have the freedom to wear barely anything without any consequences

And they shift the blame! they can choose to wear a tank top with no bra KNOWING everybody will notice their boobs but if i look at them IM THE PERV

I don't get how some women expect to look sexy without inducing sexual thoughts.
Ofc this doesn't apply to the average girl who likes to show a little leg or cleavage in a classy way.

Thoughts are fine, at least in my opinion. It's when someone acts upon those thoughts that the potential for problems arises. Leering might make me uncomfortable if I perceive it as excessive, but I'm only going to get offended if someone tries to invade my personal space or say something degrading.
