I don’t like to admit I can’t speak for everyone but I figure you’re insecurities are going to fade once you’re ****ing. Only to turn right back on when you pull out. An understanding partner and a little practice should iron out the kinks. |
I have little chain Halloween lights that run on one AA battery that I keep up all year
Some are skeletons and some are pumpkins I’m not trying to be gothic or anything I just like the gentle lights and they don’t have to be plugged in My ceiling lights are all burnt out and have been for years I use lamps - when I visit someone and they don’t have lamps next to chairs or their beds I know they never read. Just TV on and on It’s been a long time since I’ve had tv and when one is on somewhere it irritates the **** out of me. How people can use tv as the constant sonic background for their home kills me. |

Having to install 2 RTD systems on 2 laptops this morning. Should be easy right? Just install the software and drivers for the peripherals. Yeah, no problem. Uhhhh... no. This is a bare bones refurbished PC with Win 10 in S-Mode installed.
Here's the process I've developed for these pieces of ****: 1. Kill ALL downloads (may have to wait a minute or two) 1a. Go to Store and click upper right bars to find them 2. Sign in to Microsoft Account 3. Go to Settings -> Update & Security -> Activation 4. Update Store 5. Repeat #3^ 6. Click GET 7. Activate .NET 3.5 (TURN OFF WINDOWS UPDATES!) 7a. Type: appwiz.cpl (or type Windows Features) 7b. Click on Turn on Windows features (may have to wait a minute or two) 7c. Select .NET 3.5 (includes...) 7d. Select "Let Windows..." 8. RESTART 9. Change Account settings to Local Sign In That's just to be able to install the RTD software, and most of the time the system just hangs. These are systems that are put in place into $300k+ facilities, so spend the extra $200 on a new laptop with a full OS installed. Son of a bitch. I'm so ****ing done with these things. wtf |
I am 100% turning into that record store guy who is grumpy...BUT...only when faced with stupid people who can't take hints or assh*les who can't take 'no' for an answer. I'm not a snob. I'm not scoffing at peoples music tastes or sh*tting on opinions but the day to day grind of running a business like I do is starting to take effect in some ways. It mostly comes down to me not having a higher up manager/corporate overlord to answer to when something goes awry. I can deal out my own decisions and carry out conversations how I see fit. To date we have 90 Google reviews and a 4.9 out of 5.0 with pretty much everybody stating how down to earth and chill my partner and I are so I'm not worried about any sort of decline in business because I can get moody with jerkoffs. It's just that when you buy things from the public, you end up running into scenarios like the following...
These happened in the last four hours mind you. It's been a frustrating day and is the reason I'm making this post. I'm venting.
I haven't told anybody off yet but I'm getting close to it. |
