Right maybe the generalization was wrong.

I was trying to respond to your comment that it's surprising that I say I've never been around so many depressed mother****ers, but it's true.

At least in that at the shelter and rehab and jail, I didn't meet a chorus of people who went on about how life is hopeless and they wanted to kill themselves etc. So it's not surprising to me. I've met more suicidal people online than in any of these institutions.

There were some head cases in those places everyone knew you had to be careful about. But most of the people there were relatively pleasant.

I don't think people wear it on their sleeves as much as we do. I definitely don't express it as much in person.

You're probably just talking about bipolar people who self-medicated with drugs or alcohol and either got off on a manic upswing or are on a manic upswing cause they got off.
