Yeah some of Dirty's comments I don't agree with. The mod team is pretty welcoming as far as posting in people's introduction thread.
Most of the time when a new person decides to post a link or something while in their introduction thread. They usually tell them it isn't allowed and show the thread with the rules.

We aren't the all power lords of MB or anything. It's not really that glamorous. We serve you. We only try to maintain the quality of the forum so that you can enjoy it. We are all volunteers and we do it because we want to give back to the forum and help people enjoy it.
That said, I've personally slipped a few times and extended my power beyond boundaries it shouldn't go beyond. For this, I apologize. But this is not the Moderator body as a whole apologizing or acknowledging validity to any claims. This is just me, as a regular poster, talking to you.
Further more, people are never goated into being banned. It just doesn't happen. People aren't even infracted for sarcasm or arguing. Punitive action is ONLY taken when someone makes a personal insult. There's a difference between insulting an opinion or arguement and insulting a person.
