Well, since you asked: the skip thing is actually a possibity of changing they who collect our trash, except for one tiny detail: they have no prices on thier website! Change to our services! How much will I save? Oh never mind, we'll talk about that later! Just tie yourself into a contract with us and we'll discuss it...

Yeah, Wiki's a great source of information for me, but tbh I was just copying the album art for "Swordfishtrombones", which came up on the Random Track of the Day. God I'm boring! But now, also rich.

What do you mean, "if"?
Now all I need do is send them my bank details, passwords, credit card number including security code, date of birth and home address and the money will be transferred into my account! We'll see who's laughing then!

I'll think of yaz when I'm living in my solid gold house with my rocket car waiting outside...

OK, so if I ever get my hands on whoever declared that misfortunes should come in threes....

1. No TV due to satellite dish signal being blocked by newly-built extension in the back garden: satellite dude due tomorrow. Cost: 100 Euro

2. Tumble dryer seems to have overheated and won't work now. No dry clothes, have to wear everything sopping wet. Tumble dryer dude will NOT be here tomorrow, not coming till Tuesday. Cost: 120 Euro

3. Gas boiler seems to have broken down. No hot water, no heat in radiators. Luckily it's summer. Still, kettles a-plenty to boil! Gas dude will be here in the morning. Cost: hopefully zero, as we pay a monthly amount to have the "Gold service", which means we get a 24/7/365 call out and any parts are included... so they say.

Total cost therefore: 220 Euro, so far.
Weekly income: Me 204 Euro, sister 210 Euro, total 414 Euro

Is that enough misfortune in one week for one guy or what?

Or just on your radiator like my nan use to do with my clothing despite my protests of someone else doing my laundry.

Anyhow here's my obligatory bitch against UPS which every member is required to have.

I saw two of your trucks four blocks away from my house an hour ago when I went to the bank to do a deposit. I know my package is on one of those trucks because I checked the tracking. Why in the name of bollockburgers is it not on my steps yet?

I would have heard the truck come by, they haven't yet. I'm half tempted to get in my car and drive around the neighborhood so I can find the truck and just get it from them then. Mostly my anticipation stems from the fact that I want to go to the gym but I don't like the idea of leaving packages out in the open when there have been reports of people's mail getting stolen.
