I hate the fact that I'm worried I shouldn't be offended by this, this had been done for any other ethnic group there'd have been uproar. Not much thought seems to have gone into it. Just seems to me very racist. I don't know If I'm just being a bit of a nob for thinking it but this angers me. I'm amazed that it's so widely accepted as being 'OK'.
Frankly if this had been done for another Ethnic group and I'd posted it I think the response I would have got might have been very different and that aggravates me somewhat.

Yeah, I'm with you. If it's "stuff white people like", where's the NASCAR and country music and whatnot. I've always thought a more accurate title for it would be "stuff upper-middle class American coastal liberals like".

i personally find alot of it very funny and VERY true.

as for a what black people like, watch the Boondocks. sure, much is exaggerated, but imo it shows a side of black people that i have seen much in my life.

Im with you on that,they do name a lot of other stuff that applys to most whites.A lot of it applys to me too tho and Im mexican.Id like to see the list for mexicans,I know for sure us loving beans will be in there.LOL

That must be a new addition from people pointing that out to him because a year or so ago when I saw the site for the first time I don't remember anything like that being mentioned and I remember thinking, "hmmm... this site should have a different name".

well even so, alot of this is based on experience. i wouldn't really expect someone who would make "stuff black people like" to know black people of different groups, communities or economies.

and i do admit i didn't know before that he hadn't mentioned that when first creating the site. still, i wouldn't expect him to be mr. all knowing of white people. idk, i feel that some people should lighten up with that cause it's really just the experiences and observations of one man. i don't even think he believes all white people are like that, but in a sense, it does tie in to a cluster of people who have very much in common, many of which happen to be white, at least from my experience.
