Default Did America really put a man on the moon?

This subject fascinates me.
Did they or didn't they and if not...why pretend otherwise?

Discuss...

Why would they fake it? To beat the Russians and get them back for Sputnik and boost the American populace's very low morale.

if they faked it why haven't they created new footage of people on the moon? Considering how far technology has come since 1969, by now we should be seeing astronauts fighting aliens or somthing.

we should have had a man on mars by now, If they were able to send a man to the moon that long ago why can't we go further, have we gotten dumber?

Because Mars isn't any harder to get to than the moon right?

We don't need to go to Mars and wastefully spend money, on 20,000 furnaces to heat 1 room.

We got to quit being neat: Help the starving people of the world, then we can worry about colonizing other planets

It's just as hard to go to the Moon as it is to go to Mars, if the radiation levels outside the Van Allen belt make it impossible to do either.
