Your favorite age?

Was just going through the what age are you thread and got to thinking about what age is the best.

So my question for you is, if you had to be stuck at one age your entire life what would that be?

-------------

I would no doubtedly say 5. Nothing matters at 5. Everything is fun.

sweet_nothing 05-08-2008 11:13 PM

I may actually have to agree with you. 3 may be even better than 5.

Urban Hat€monger ? 05-09-2008 10:04 PM

I can't wait till i'm in my 60s.

I get to smell , wear tasteless clothes , not have to worry about what I look like and just sit around all day moaning about things.

sweet_nothing 05-09-2008 10:22 PM

^^^ it's called being Emo ;)

Urban Hat€monger ? 05-09-2008 10:25 PM

Shut the fuck up and stop talking out of your arse.

sweet_nothing 05-09-2008 10:36 PM

You people are crazy...who wants to go backwards and be stuck there??? Not me, that's for damn sure! I'm actually looking forward to being in my 30's soon.

WWWP 05-10-2008 12:26 AM

I think 25 would be a good age to be stuck at.
But I wouldn't know from experience.

musiclover3210 05-19-2008 04:57 PM

I'd Have to say 20s because you get to experience campus life. Late night drinking and parties that overflow onto the streets! I can hardly wait!

right-track 05-19-2008 05:12 PM

I wish I was 7 again.
I never really considered what the best age was to be, until I watched my son playing the other day.
He was so happy...no worries in the world.
Having kids is a double edged sword...wonderful to watch, but it doesn't half bring the memories flooding back.

Alfred 05-19-2008 05:26 PM

Thirteen.

ProggyMan 05-19-2008 05:44 PM

Agreed.

Whatsitoosit 05-20-2008 10:38 AM

I'd have to go with 16 as well. Started my first band, met some cool people I am still in touch with, old enough to enjoy most of what life has to offer while still being too young to worry about the bull**** responsibilities life has to offer.

WaspStar 05-20-2008 01:16 PM

Another vote for thirteen; old enough to appreciate life, but too young to really care about anything that would worry you.

You've got the right idea. Summers in between college school years are particularly good.

Anything below, say 15, and you eliminate sex!
Anything below 21 and you can't drink (in the U.S. anyway). Neither is acceptable.

1. Not if your stuck there, youd get pretty good :)

2. Thats true but everyone does it anyways.

joderu95 05-20-2008 02:51 PM

Yah, but the inconvenience of it. Sneaking around, having someone else buy it for you, plotting house parties while parents are away, NOT BEING ABLE TO DRINK IN A BAR, etc. If drinking & partying is a big determinant of the age you pick then over 21 is critical.

jackhammer 05-20-2008 02:54 PM

One. Lying on your back with a bottle in your mouth. Who could ask for more?

I would not ask for anything else.

Do you remember being 15, lol?

joderu95 05-20-2008 07:16 PM

Generally yes, I do remember that age and bear in mind when my writing says "say 15" that is an approximation and obviously no single age is going to cover everyone. What age should I have written?

ProggyMan 05-20-2008 07:23 PM

Uh, I'm saying that plenty of 15 year olds drink alchohol and have sex.

joderu95 05-20-2008 07:27 PM

And that is why

What made you think I thought otherwise?

ProggyMan 05-20-2008 07:30 PM

You said that not having access to those things was an unfortunate characteristic of being 15.

joderu95 05-20-2008 07:35 PM

You're reading something into my original statement that is not there.

To be clear.

1. At the randomly picked age of 15 many people have not yet had sex. This does in no way mean you don't "have access" to it. It simply means that for the generic person I had in mind sex would be, as of that age, undiscovered to him or her. Comprende?

2. To consume alcohol in the United States of America legally and with far less restriction and much more convenience one must be 21 years of age or more.

twinkeefactory 05-21-2008 09:06 PM

I'd say the twenties was pretty sweet. Discovering independence, drinking at any hour, eating ice cream for breakfast, and you can still blame any sort of debauchery on being young. I'm hoping my 30s will be just as sweet. Oh God, that's only 3 months from now!!! ahhh!! oh sweet 20s, never leave me.
