New ISP

I've had nothing but problems recently with my ISP (Orange Bag of Shite Broadband).
I'm currently paying for what is laughingly known as 'unlimited downloads'.
I'm considering going over to another service provider that only allows 30GB per month, but for the same price.

What I want to know is...is 30GB per month enough?

I'd say it is, my harddrive is only 80GB.

For me not nearly enough but since I take it you don't download films I'd say it is...

No I don't download films, but I do download quite a bit of music, plus all the other shit a person can get through surfing, e-mailing etc. etc...
What I'm looking for is someone who is limited to 30GB to list what they go through in a month to give me a good idea...or someone who knows what they're talking about.
That's not aimed at you guys, I'm after an overall opinion so all feedback will help.

There's no way you download that much music man, my entire library isn't that big. :|

I know...I altered the post to include all the other crap that gets done in that time period.

For example...4 hours of surfing per day uses about 1GB...

Are you serious?! Wow...

right-track 05-19-2008 03:15 PM

Apparently...yes. :/

adidasss 05-19-2008 03:19 PM

Well, that means 30 gigs won't be enough...;)
30 gigs per month for how much? What problems have you been having?
